MEANWHILE LEAGUE GUIDELINES

At Meanwhile, we’re all about fun, community, and great competition! To keep the good times rolling, here’s what you need to know:

WAIVERS
Before the first game kicks off, every player needs to sign a waiver. Team captains, it’s on you to make sure your crew knows the deal and has accepted the terms. You’ll find the waiver included in the online signup process, even for those invited by you!

PAYMENT
Teams must settle their dues before game day arrives. Team captains, it’s your job to figure out what each player owes and ensure it’s all paid up. If payment isn’t complete by the deadline, the balance will fall to you!

AGE MINIMUM
All players must be 21 or older by the first game. Meanwhile reserves the right to ask for ID at any time—no exceptions!

TEAM ROSTERS
There’s no cap on roster size as long as everyone signs up online and has their waiver in. Just a heads-up: there’s a point where adding more players will cost extra. You’ve got until week three to tweak your roster; after that, it’s set in stone. Changes that need an extra t-shirt depend on availability, so let us know what you need, and we’ll work together to make it happen.

UNIFORMS
Each player will get a league t-shirt that’s your official uniform. Wear your assigned Meanwhile Sports League color proudly, and keep that logo visible! If you show up without the right shirt, you’ll be sitting out. You can customize your t-shirt, but make sure the logo stays clear and the color stays the same!

FINAL WEEK PLAYOFF
In the final week, the top two teams will battle it out in an elimination game for the championship. Other teams in good standing will face off against similarly ranked opponents. Prizes? Oh, we’ll have those too! The winning team will get a $200 tab on the night of the Championship game.

INCLEMENT WEATHER
If weather gets in the way before a game starts, we’ll notify players via email as soon as a decision is made. If we’re already playing when the skies turn, our staff will keep an eye on things to see if we need to pause or postpone. If more than half the game has been played, we’ll call it a full game and count the score toward standings.

GAME RESCHEDULING
After a cancellation, we’ll do our best to find a new day for that game. Makeup games might not fall on your usual game day. If cancellations pile up, we may need to shorten the season—no refunds for that!

FORFEITURE
If your team can’t field enough players, it’s a forfeit. Injuries might lead to an exception, but that’s up to the Meanwhile team. Teams that forfeit multiple games might be removed from the league, so bring your A-game!

SPORTSMANSHIP
We’re all here to have fun! Unsportsmanlike behavior can lead to disqualification, and repeat offenders may be asked to leave. Remember, good vibes only!

OVERLY COMPETITIVE PLAYERS
While we love the spirit of competition, overly aggressive behavior isn’t welcome here. If you find yourself getting too intense, this league might not be your scene. Examples of this behavior include:

-Running up the score
-Ignoring teammates
-Targeting weaker players
-Excessive shouting
-Playing too physically
-Arguing with others or our staff
-Trying to deceive the Meanwhile crew

DYNASTIES
We appreciate a strong team, but if one squad is consistently dominating, it can take the fun out of the game for everyone. If a team has been ruling the roost for multiple seasons, Meanwhile may ask them to split into separate teams or bow out to keep things balanced.
